July 2006: The Zµ3500 ultra-precision and ultra-fine machining cell received the Nippon Brand Award.

Our Zµ3500 received the Nippon Brand Award the 36th annual Machine Design Award (sponsored by Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun).

This award is second only to the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award and is granted to products that have the best prospects for the future representation of Japan. The scope of the screening process covers all industrial products and focuses not only on design, but also on a broad range of criteria for performance, safety, economy, and environment. This was the first time that the award was awarded to the machine tool industry.
