What are the key points in selecting machine tools?
The point that NTC emphasizes is reliability.
The recent trend seems to be for machines with many versatile
functions and decorated appearances. It is highly apparent, however,
that some functions are not practically used or that the wiring
and piping are not well arranged within the machines.
Such a trend may cause too much stress on the aspect of maintenance.
At the beginning of introduction, a machine may fully demonstrate
its functions, but there has been a lot of talk about actual
cases of frequent failures after that. In addition, in the case
of a fatal failure, there is a possibility that users may be
forced to replace parts, paying tremendous amounts of money.
There is a possibility that over-decorated machines may likely
be a burden with the risk of a short service life.
Even if the initial investment is lower, there may be unexpected
maintenance costs, and in terms of total costs, there may be
a possibility of tremendous expenses in the long run.
Such problems as mentioned abobe will never happen with NTC. We, at NTC, make it a motto to always put ourselves
in the position of our customers and to continue our friendly
association with them for many years hoping that "our customers
must enjoy profits" in the long run.
• We have dared to select a type in which a spindle is directly linked to a motor, avoiding the built-in type, which may entail great expense amounting to several million yen for replacement. In addition, we have widely reduced the maintenance time for some built-in types using our own unique technology.
• The layout is set up so that when replacing a motor for each
axis, it is easily accessible from the outside, where applicable.
• In some of our models, only separate pieces of the magazine's
consumable parts, such as claws, may be replaced.
• For the replacement of wiring and piping in our machines, hoses,
and cables are only partially replaced.
We make every effort to carry out our ''manufacturing" in
pursuit of ease of use and simplicity, always considering a reduction
in the customers' maintenance costs and ease of maintenance.
When compared with other companies' products, our products may
not be as showy or daring in any way, but the features of our
machines, for which there are so many repeaters, are evidenced
by our customers' feedback: "You can realize the advantage
of NTC machines only after you have used them for many years.
They are completely different from other companies' machines. "
Looking back at the original point of manufacturing, what is
really required of machining?
It is to create such products that are machined and manufactured at the peak
of maturity reflecting the original point of manufacturing. This is exactly NTC's "Project
Z," which we are now tackling.
NTC continues to put into practice our motto "From Zero
to Zenith" or and from the "Original Point to the
Peak."
